Seed libraries

A farmer borrows a packet of native vegetable seeds the way you would borrow a book. She plants, harvests, saves seed — and returns the loan doubled, so the shelf is fuller for the next borrower. No cash changes hands; the interest is paid in seeds.

Farm schools

Weekend classes where farmers teach farmers: composting that actually works in Panay's wet season, how to price a harvest without underselling it, and how to keep a co-op's books straight enough to survive an audit.

Giving

Honest questions about giving

Where does my donation actually go?

₱92 of every ₱100 goes directly to programmes. ₱5 covers transport and the two staff who run logistics; ₱3 covers the independent audit and bookkeeping. The full split is published every January.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. We're SEC-registered with BIR donee status — official receipts are issued within five working days of any gift.

Can I fund a specific programme?

You can. Earmark it when you give and you'll get a report on that programme specifically at year end.

How will I know what my gift did?

We're audited yearly and publish the full report every January — numbers, photos, and what didn't work. Earmarked gifts get their own programme report on top of that.

I'd rather give time than money. Can I?

Please do. The weekend farm schools always need volunteer teachers, and we run community visits every quarter — we can also arrange one outside those dates for donors giving above ₱50,000.
